WASC Accreditation

The Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) is the accrediting organization that supports continuous improvement and educational quality for schools throughout the western United States. Accreditation is more than a review process—it is an opportunity for schools to reflect on their practices, celebrate successes, identify areas for growth, and develop plans to improve outcomes for students.

At Upper Lake Unified School District, the WASC process helps ensure that we are fulfilling our mission, measuring the effectiveness of our efforts, and using data and feedback to strengthen teaching, learning, and student support systems. Accreditation demonstrates our commitment to providing high-quality educational experiences and continuous improvement for all students.
