Emergency Preparedness
Keeping Our Students, Staff, and Schools Safe
At Upper Lake Unified, safety is a shared responsibility. We are committed to ongoing emergency planning, training, communication, and collaboration with first responders and community partners.
California law requires school districts to develop and annually update a Comprehensive School Safety Plan (CSSP) addressing emergency response, disaster preparedness, campus safety, and student and staff well-being.
ULUSD works closely with the Lake County Office of Education (LCOE) and local emergency response agencies to ensure our preparedness practices are coordinated and aligned with countywide and statewide expectations.
